  • Window art draws attention - It's a fun, fast, and easy way to connect with your customers and community! Keep your storefront fresh with seasonal storefront displays and customized designs to suit your style and your space.

  • Each project is unique. Our quotes are based on several factors including; window size, location, estimated time to complete, the complexity of the project, accessibility of the windows, and whether the project requires custom designs.

  • Most projects do not require a mock-up. If you’re interested in a mock-up or if your project requires a sketch in advance of painting, let us know and we will factor that into our project quote and timelines.

  • In most cases, we paint from the inside. In certain circumstances, for instance, if the windows are not accessible from indoors or if the windows have a film on them, we may be able to accommodate the project and paint windows from the outside. Certain conditions may apply.

  • On average, it takes anywhere from 1.5 - 4 hours to complete a storefront/business, depending on scale, accessibility of windows, and the complexity of the design.

  • We use bright, water-based acrylic paints, paint markers and sharpies.

  • That depends! Window paintings can last anywhere from months to years! If the window murals are in a high traffic area they may slowly get worn away. If left untouched, the paintings can last months, even years!

    Colourful window artwork may start to fade after several years of direct sun exposure.

    We recommend switching up your artwork seasonally!

  • No, we are not responsible for artwork removal. Window paintings are fairly easy to remove - we recommend starting with a window-safe scraper, sweeping or vacuuming the paint bits, and then using regular window cleaners. Read more about removal here.

  • While our studio is based in Ottawa, we travel far and wide to deliver hand-painted window art for our happy clients across the City of Ottawa and National Capital Region (NCR) and frequently work with clients in Hamilton and the Greater Hamilton-Toronto area with our sister-studio based out of Dundas, Ontario. *Travel charges may apply for locations outside Ottawa-Kanata & Dundas-Hamilton.

  • November - December is our busiest time of year! We start taking winter and holiday window painting bookings in September. Reach out early to secure your spot!

  • No, we are not taking on window painting projects for residential spaces at this time for various reasons.

    * Subject to our discretion - special projects/circumstances may qualify.

Follow these steps for fast, efficient, clean removal of window paintings:

1. Scrape the paint off the windows with a safe-for-glass scraper (available at most hardware stores for under $15). For any stubborn areas, spritz the paint with window cleaner and let it sit for a minute or two to loosen the paint, and then proceed to scrape off.

2. Sweep/vacuum the scraped paint pieces. 

3. Wash the remaining paint off with appropriate window cleaners (ex. Windex).
